[Daymare Cat 10-year Anniversary Edition]

hmm time to go binge the submachine/covert/slice of sea/daymare series

it's been awhile.

[Bloodlust: Santa Monica (Definitive Edition)]

i tried to hand the sleeping pills to one of the cops outside the starting apartment and it said "i can't" but then when the dialog closed, no UI ever came back up. the game wasn't frozen. passive animations continued as well as music and ambient noise. but no ability to move around or interact anymore.

uhm... i'm at the tutorial and hitting the left arrow every time the stupid nondescript vertical lines are in the center box within the wider box... and it keeps failing.

not sure what the timing or visuals are supposed to indicate, but i'm very good at figuring out games and very good at rhythm games and this isn't clicking so it is badly designed.

fantastic. love the dynamic behavior of the pet and family. that must have been nightmarish to get working right

no level select and the rotation controls being reversed from what they should be hurt this game a lot.

You can swap rotation controls in the settings. Sadly the demo doesn't feature level select right now, but it is in the full game.

you move and slide around too fast for how small everything is.

people evolving in this universe would have no problem correctly solving the "can a plane take off on a treadmill?" problem.
