awesome

everything has been done before. but the level design was excellent.

i don't know why people are crying about not having a partner to play with... i breezed through the entire game by myself.

Hardcore gamer ;)

Gives that "newgrounds is falling" impression

"Maybe reading description you will see how wrong you are"

What an arrogant author, lol!

No. The review was correct. This is a poor submission. The animation quality is reminiscent of the 90's before people understood how to do smooth animation. There is no visual feedback when you hit a note correctly which just reeks of artistic oversight.

I can't criticize you for your terrible taste in music so don't think that's why I rated this low. Though your music taste is terrible so yeah..

A key-mashing rhythm game has no place anywhere. That's not what rhythm genre is about at all.

There wasn't one thing I liked about this game.

re: "first, two accounts?"

Nope. I've never had another account. I was simply stating that the reviewer was correct in criticizing you for failing to explain something in game and falling back on "read the description"

MonoFlauta responds:

first, two accounts? how sad. Also, I have answered 91 reviews with this one in wich 50% of people doesnt read the description, you didn't again because the criticize you are making is because you didnt read.
And if you don't like this music, go and cry with justin bieber

damange during dream?

overall a decent game.

for me, the game was broken by the fact that when you take damage in your dream, it persists into the waking world.

this wasn't intentional it was an oversight on your part.

UknownXL responds:

I never claimed it to be on purpose. Im uploading a new version with medals in a moment and that will be fixed.

Here is my review

The music was a terrible choice. The style was completely irrelevant to this type of game.

The controls were slow. I was constantly hitting keys again and again thinking they weren't being accepted when really it was just so incredibly slow.

The music loop wasn't just inappropriate, but terrible short so it became unbearable after only a few minutes.

I'd say a lot more but you won't read this review anyways, so I'm done.

amaupin responds:

Well, I'm the developer and I read your review. I agree that the music isn't the best. Believe me, after testing this game for days on end, I grew sick of it. ;)

This is a plan-your-moves-carefully puzzle game - that's probably why the pace seems slow. At higher levels you definitely don't want your group of blocks to shoot across the screen.

far farout of context.

it's nice for a 48-hour project.. but why is it on the front page? i assumed the front page was based on overall game quality.. not "game quality given that etc."

my rating to you is based on its front page status.

if this were a 48-hour project flash game website, then my rating would be higher.

MrPiglet responds:

I didn't choose to put it up there, but whatever, I don't want special dispensation for making it quickly either.

What would you have liked me to have done better? (so that next time I can make something more worthy :)

condescending ass

Hi Mr. condescending ass author. As has been pointed out, no one has difficulty understanding what a walkthrough button is. They are trying to understand why there are so many pixel mistakes that cause things to appear to be differences that aren't.

We aren't stuck because we can't find the real differences, we're frustrated because we're constantly finding differences that you weren't intelligent enough to find.

agitatedferret responds:

I guess I should've worded that more nicely sorry about that. I'll see what I can do about the alignment issues on level 2.

too difficult

Too difficult. It took me three tries to beat it on easy. That's not what "easy" means imo.

Improvement: The color upgrade wheel should allow you to see what it is the later upgrades do (the ones that you haven't unlocked yet). I wanted the sniper tower but I went the wrong way since there was no way to know which end segment was the sniper until you've upgraded the two under it.

Graphics were very nice.

Sount was not good. Some of the towers firing sound effects were just... well.. lame. Especially the sniper tower. Also the graphic of the sniper tower's projectile was kind of lame as well.

3D-xelu responds:

eh.. still.. thanks for the good score... and we didn't let players see further upgrades on purpose :P

nope

any potential this game might have had was utterly destroyed by that shark part. end of story. it's clear you made the game unenjoyable on purpose.

whileworking responds:

NO! Sorry, That is stupid, you don't even have to play the shark scene!

well

the guy right behind you got moved up to 2nd in line without having to do anything.

that pisses me off.

XxwaSSupxX responds:

Haha, well what else is he gonna do?

fun demonstration of a famous math theorem

some of the comments complained about the difficulty.

don't think the idiots realized that it's impossible to make this game more difficult with four colors. it's a famous math theorem proven by hardy.

you could limit it to 3 colors and come up with some clever scheme, but as we all know, any map can be colored with four colors.

10/10 for demonstration of a famous theorem with a soothing game. the fact that it's mind numbingly easy isn't the point.

onefifth responds:

A large majority of the levels can be solved using only 3 colours. You are awarded a gold star in the level select menu for doing so. I think it becomes a little more challenging if you aim for that.
Good to see some of the geeks picking up on the concept behind it :)
