i don't really like the interface.

-you can scroll down infinitely.
-you can load pages infinitely (despite there only being a finite # of interviews)
-clicking scroll buttons to scroll through an interview is not ideal.
-even in full screen mode, the color scheme isn't very easy on the eyes.
-when you mouse over an interview button, all it gives is the name of who the interview was with.

it would be better if the left half of the menu were the interviews from which you could choose (and scroll through AND search through) and the right half be a summary giving interviewee, date, etc.

scroll wheel integration is pretty important, not to mention a vertical bar in between the up/down arrows for scrolling that can be clicked and dragged.

deathink responds:

The scroll wheel should work, but you need to make sure you have focan on the flash. and the scroll bar is in the works of being implemented. Cheers!

this shit is hella tl;dr. might give it a real shot later on but for now i'll give it a below average rating.

if i end up liking it a lot later.. oh well lol. already gave it an average rating before playing.

btw my vote carries the force of about 100 votes.. so ya. i just raped your rating lol. soz

momoguru responds:

linde, are you drunk... again! i'm not gonna pick you up from the bus station this time.

nice. reminds me of company of myself and the sequel. pixel-graphic retro themed art flash games in general

talhakaya responds:

thanks! company of myself is a big inspiration. So the comparison is honouring :)

pretty much great across the board.

i subtracted a star because your advertisement to "support" you or w/e kept popping up and i'd have to move my hand from the keyboard to the mouse to close it. (i tried hitting 'r' to reload the level but it would just keep reloading that ad)

this killed immersion and made death a nuisance.

Invenis responds:

ESC works well to close the popup ;)

i usually do running reviews where i list all the issues in a game one by one and then the author has a (usually complete) list of all the problems/issues/design flaws. then when the author takes my advice verbatim, their game becomes immensely successful.

but it seems like you did nearly everything right here. just one minor hiccup i noticed so far.

when you step on a checkpoint and hit 'c' it says "saving..." but never gives any feedback to let you know that your progress is saved. this is somewhat awkward and clunky. one is left to assume. but some might assume that it doesn't say "saved" because it didn't properly save due to some browser/flash setting.

Seagaia responds:

have you made a game before?

This concept is ripped from a science fiction short story. I'd have to dig through some of my anthologies to find out the name. But it was definitely ripped off from that story.

In that story someone bounces forward and backward in time building up temporal energy from temporal friction. At the end he finds himself at the beginning of everything and realizes that the ridiculous amounts of energy he'd built up would cause him to explode and actually "be" the origin of the universe.

I enjoyed this game, though it was very short. I won't count off stars for blatantly ripping the idea from a story and not giving credit because the game itself was still solid.

MaTX responds:

I have actually never heard about that story! I would love to read it if it's possible, because it shares incredible similarities with our idea. Any chance you could send me a private message with the title?
Thanks!

i can't figure out why this is rated 4 stars. this is terrible. the graphics are unpleasant.. the upgrades monotonous. the gameplay pretty nonexistant.

i kept looking for some reason to give it a good rating and in the end had wasted a bunch of bored time guiding an arrow to hit everything on the screen.

UknownXL responds:

I kept waiting for an immature post and I just found it. Luckily it seems that most of Newgrounds have evolved and know what a fun game is unlike yourself. I am glad to see that every post (with the exception of this gibberish) has been overwhelmingly positive and everyone enjoys the game.

-1 star for the adblocker BS. you act like we're blocking ads just to hurt indie developers. what about the disgustingly obtrusive ads on sites like youtube and ign?

4 overall because this is a great game as i always expect from nitrome

Nitrome responds:

Just because you argue that you are blocking ads for sites like Youtube and ign does not mean that you are not hurting indie developers?
The arival of App stores on mobile as a whole has led to an ongoing decline in people playing flash games which in turn is putting a squeese on the revenue a flash dev can make from their game. We have to get millions of people to play our games just to pay the bills of making it which is no easy task! On top of that it is generally accepted that you have more potential to make money in mobile now than you do in the flash space so flash developers faced with this dilema are increasingly jumping ship.
What I'm saying is avoid watching ads if you want, but then don't complain later when there are no longer any free games to play on the internet any more of any worth.

i love this genre of puzzle game.
you were smart enough to not force us to move our hand back and forth between keyboard and mouse which most level-based flash game creators lack the intelligence to do
sounds/music are awesome.

top notch.
