Hmm I might have an idea for this
I could ad a wind-up robo fish that drops food that you could buy, what would you think of that?
Edit: It's updated, feel free to take a look!
could there possibly be more menus/text windows to click through to get to the actual game?
sorry. it's not that rpg maker games are inherently bad. it's just that just about everything that engine can do has been done a million times before. so if you're going to use it, you need a certain level of creativity and polish in order to stand out. such a level of skill begs you to use a better engine and make something else.
but the real nail in the coffin for me was the excessive number of menus and screens. i think i selected some kind of "play" option 3 or 4 times before the game actually started.
re tewm:
No. Identity is a negotiation between oneself and their family/friends/community/society/world. Insisting on ones own identity by fiat is a recipe for pushback. And that just ends up being part of the negotiation. I get that you're joking and trying to use the review response space to spam and troll, but I can tell you really believe it so I'm happy to shut that line of thinking on your part down as well :)
i dont think having to press a button a few times really warrants a 0 star rating, lol. if that really sucks away all your precious free time then literally just use the fast forward feature, by holding F or G. you don't seem to care about reading the dialogue anyway lol. i am aware that this doesn't stand out very much, it doesn't need to. i made this out of passion, not for attention. i get the feeling you only played 1 game in the collection for a few minutes until you like died and got a game over or something. lol
my pronouns are this / that
please use them accordingly as I decide what my identity is. not you.
i flew around for a long time after escaping the bubble and never got any kind of an ending sequence.
word, you fixed it.
now make a sequel or make it longer. have it on my desk in the morning. even if you have to stay up until 3 to get it done.
Okay, bug confirmed then, will fix asap! Thanks for letting me know!
EDIT: I think it's fixed now, it should take a shorter distance, and if that fails, it should trigger anyway after a few seconds.
i'm sorry but you made me fill out a fucking captcha for the purposes of registering for a game on NG?
there's no game on earth that gets over 0 stars after that.
git gud
infuriating trying to do the truck bit with constant popups.
teehee :)
I found the secret side of the game. Was really annoying having to do the whole avoiding the exit thing again and again whenever I died int he underworld though.
Not sure what you’re talking about you have unlocked medals (they’re on your profile!). And you got an F because you’ve missed 80% of the game content! Try harder!
EDIT: Ah, there you go, there’s always more than meets the eye! And you don’t have to wait for the drone, there’s more than one way to get below, check out the walkthrough for more info! :)

not sure what the medal things i purchased from the guy in the upper right were. but as far as roguelites (a genre i don't much care for) go, this was pretty good.
just wish there was some kind of progression.
you should generate a currency (like the points/coins that currently exist) that you can use to purchase some of those upgrades you get during dungeon play, but in a permanent fashion.
The coin shop gives you new upgrades that can show up on runs. Each purchase is 4 new potential upgrades.
I'd thought about persistent upgrades, but that wouldn't mesh well with the leaderboard, because a new player would be at a disadvantage against people who put more time in to it. So I ended up deciding against it. But I would like to take some more time add more unlockable things that might cater to different playstyles/combos so people can find what best works for them.
tap the screen to boost?
huh?
tapping the screen, depending on where you "tap" the screen switches lanes from left to right.
sorry but if you're going to make a game purely for mobile, just stick to mobile. if you want to make a pc port, then adjust the controls.
click after shooting to boost
if you aren't developing a full version for steam.. you're fools. because this is fantastic.
I can't believe how many people want a full game! :DDD
is there any more to this game than the first bit?
We are updating the game soon to be better with more interesting spawns soon. However the enemies do get faster 60 seconds in.
