really just genuinely bad. badly designed badly executed.

the way the camera spazzes around from mouse movement is unbelievable

the sheer number of prompts and menus i had to spam my way through to get into a game was unreal.

it's like all the bloat of an EA style AAA without any of the quality or fun.

re author: imagine being so incapable of accepting criticism that your goto response to someone calling you out on the shortcomings of your work is to accuse them of trolling.

WilkinGames responds:

Nice troll review!

I didn't get the medal for 25 cards.

AxolStudio responds:

0 = Mute
+ / - = Volume Control

These are the default sound controls for every Flixel/HaxeFlixel game.

According to your profile, you DO have that medal.
I'm not sure what's going on with that one - it seems to be the #1 comment we get: "I didn't get the last medal" only to go check and they have it after all.
All the logic for giving that medal is the same as giving the other 2 - did you get notified when you got those properly?
Did you have to re-load your game to get the last one?

This bug has me stumped, unfortunately, but I'd rather people get the medal and not realize it than not be able to get medal at all.
Sorry.

i would like it more if people could watch me play and see how blazing fast i am at mental arithmetic. easily among the ten fastest mental calculators alive. you should have more difficult levels/modes for people like me involving large products/quotients/exponentiation/etc.

full screen is buggy

having to sit through dialog that has a hard delay between each message even when spamming keys on each death and reselect the level is crazy. there's a glitch where when you take damage your robot glitches to the bottom of the level. the music is quite terrible.

despite ALL these minor to major problems, it's still fun. it could have been a five if you hadn't messed up these obvious things though.

MartinJacob responds:

Thank you for your feedback, several points of which I have just submitted to the backlog. We did not mention that you can press R to restart a level instantly - this will be the case in future versions.
Have a nice day!

excellent. the air handling is atrocious though. but i liked everything else about it.

bluswimmer responds:

Thanks for the feedback!

this is exactly how i drove 3 years ago when i was 16

wish you could scale the size of the playing field. additionally wish there was more to it than just classic minesweeper. but it's beautifully stylized so it gets a 5.

wtf this is amazing

off to a great start. got the axe. i went to that island with the cuttable trees and cut them down 1 through 7 (based on the # of distinct markers on each tree)

did nothing they just respawned as though it was the wrong order. that felt like there was some bad design going on and so i stopped.

the tutorial was enough to tel lme i wouldn't enjoy this game. i fired 3+ entire clips of bullets into an enemy and it didn't kill it. literally only a melee attack would kill it. so if bullets do something like 1% the damage of melee, what's the point of even having them?

re author: then please god give a quick, easy, and obvious way to skip the tutorial. i absolutely hate forced tutorials. and i generally dislike tutorials in general. players should be trained organically. can you imagine classic masterpieces like portal 2 with a tutorial that wasn't just a shallow learning curve integrated with the story? yeah. i can't either.

Ravernt responds:

It's a tutorial thingy. You need to execute requested actions to proceed (enemies are invincible in tutorial). In actual run bullets do normal damage.
