meh. it's ok. the player's sprite is too big compared to the game field.

the branches you're supposed to slide under don't stand out enough against the art of the trees.

the color palette is drab.

overall it's ok. but definitely not worth my time.

really great classic game.

but the larger you make the game window, the slower the game plays.

to get full speed you have to play the game in its original window size which is kind of ridiculously small. on my stacey-tier 4k displays, it's but a blip on the canvas of my life.

playing it dragged out to 4-9X'ish its original size is reasonable though.

quoth my spreadsheet, one game more

replayed the color my dreams recently and was a let down

this one actually holds up quite nicely though. good work

this was a classic to me back in the day and made a list (that has become quite long) of games i regarded as replayable.

not sure what i was thinking. I was very young.

i feel guilty for not liking this much.

it was obviously quite a lot of work and very well done.

really good job. i have no criticisms other than that movement and actions felt a bit slow but that might have been because I full screened the NG player or just something changed in between 2009's flash rendering and 2022.

so short... but quite nice.

i like the idea of the editor being the reward for finishing. not that i have any interest in creating content for games. (never have)

still very well done.

very nice art and sound but not very fun, mechanically.

the GB aesthetic was cool

i don't know how you're expecting people to easily read the control description key graphics in the description btw. especially the esc key. it's completely minuscule.

if you're developing on a 640x480 display that's understandable. i and most others are on a slightly higher resolution though (3840x2160)

let me walk you through the experience of the most experienced and knowledgeable gamer you will probably ever have play your game (me)

-game loads. looks very pretty

-why isn't this rated a little over 4 stars? games of this aesthetic tier are always a little over 4 if they don't have something big that detracts from the experience. *sigh*

-gets orb and a few seconds later understands what i'll have to do the whole game/ ahh i see why the rating is under 4 stars. that's horrible, tedious, and annoying

-plays through the rest, but never enjoys it because of how annoying it is to have to toss something with the analog nature of a mouse while smack dab in a digital pixel art environment.

-hates it overall despite the lovely art.

tiight with a nice aesthetic.

the checkpoints were a bit far apart in some levels though.
