great game. not sure what is "1-bit" about it but i thoroughly enjoyed the aesthetics and gameplay.

the weirdly narrow verticality of the playfield pretty much ruins this game.

good. but it's intimidating as hell that the first level set is called "very easy"

doesn't run and as such is done.

pretty great but the hitboxes are infuriating.

at first i thought this was a gem. then i beat the level with all the enemies at the end and the "run" message. when i walked into the door... i got a screen asking me to restart the level.

how can a game with such nice level design, art, music, mechanics, animation fall into such a stupid outdated pitfall of limited lives?

that's so weird and absurd.

there's no music or sound. the author comments talk about music tracks. that seems dishonest.

i just don't get how you go from a masterpiece like everloom... to this.

re: how? it was fantastic. beautiful pixel art, good animation/atmosphere/music and didn't overstay its welcome.
