Here is my review
The music was a terrible choice. The style was completely irrelevant to this type of game.
The controls were slow. I was constantly hitting keys again and again thinking they weren't being accepted when really it was just so incredibly slow.
The music loop wasn't just inappropriate, but terrible short so it became unbearable after only a few minutes.
I'd say a lot more but you won't read this review anyways, so I'm done.
Well, I'm the developer and I read your review. I agree that the music isn't the best. Believe me, after testing this game for days on end, I grew sick of it. ;)
This is a plan-your-moves-carefully puzzle game - that's probably why the pace seems slow. At higher levels you definitely don't want your group of blocks to shoot across the screen.
fun
art, music, and sound was great. i also liked that you didn't need to read all the lore to progress through. i'll probably play it again and read everything.
major problems
you have to get way too close to the edge of the screen to advance.. so you're always walking into monsters and taking damage.
can't change weapons.
no way to kill boss since if u get in melee range he tears u apart.
decent
scored 75.. but could probably improve as my mouse was broken and i was blindfolded.
It was ok
Nothing new or special, but it had some problems:
-what's the point of upgrading your fist attack if you can't stop yourself from picking up weapons when they land near you?
-lag in later waves
-turrets were pretty much useless in later waves
-completely unoriginal
The visuals/sound were great.
Also, it's not your fault but a lot of your submissions get overrated just because you're Tom. I'm not saying this isn't front page material. But people are being too forgiving of some of this game's fundamental flaws.
one really annoying thing
Awesome game but there was one major annoyance.
The inventory. The icons should glow or grow when you hover over them but not move. It's annoying chasing down the things I want to click.

my one complaint
it's passable and smooth. no bugs that i can see. but achieving expert scores is way too difficult. i would play a particularly flawless round with brilliant chaining and ridicu-efficient queuing of actions and end up with 1/2 or 1/3 of the expert score. stupid.
unclear
though the game had tons of potential to be fun, descriptions were too vague.. and the english was too terrible to really know what anything did.
that one upgrade you could buy with skill points called "recover mana" made absolutely no sense. what did that do?
what did upgrading your guardians on the battlefield do?
clumsy and lacking content
no music detracted from any type of immersion
clumsy movement and strange collision detection made the overall experience unejoyable.
there wasn't really anything i liked about this game.
