I would have given this a 3 for being a crappy clone
But since favoritefavorites gave it a 5 to counteract the honest rating, I'm going to give it a 0.
This is a crappy buggy clone of cookie clicker.
And just because the author says so in the notes doesn't change a thing about it.
this feels very fresh. vector graphics and a tron-ish theme really drive it home.
this is just flappy bird without the bird or pipes and forcing you to move to the right with the arrow key instead of automatically. and forcing you to hit space to interact with objects instead of flapping.
why is this obvious clone/ripoff allowed?
and I would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for you meddling kids
Last Door Chapters ranked from bet to worst:
2, 3, 1, 4
note: 4 was still good. just not as good as the prior 3. it was very short and not particularly impactful.
upgrades system is literally the dumbest thing i've ever seen.
glad this popped up again. my first experience wasn't very positive but i liked it a lot more this time through.
Because you have to defend your house/base while your search party searches the nearby locations for supplies, weapons and survivors :)
the fact that... when you swap two blocks.. it doesn't show that they're swapped...
just makes this the dumbest thing nitrome has ever produced. i generally love all things nitrome..
but this is just pure crap.
level 1.. i swapped spikes with a regular block.. but the spikes just sit there looking like spikes.. it's just now i can magically run on spikes.
i feel like this wasn't even playtested once by the creators.
how a game gets pushed out the door without them testing it even ONE time to see that swapping is bugged and doesn't visually swap the tiles.. i don't know. but apparently it happened.
as others have stated, the ending screen looks stupid. it breaks you out of the nice serene feel that the game imparted and suddenly makes you feel like the author had no skill and that all the quality came from the original photographers.
as you right said - i have no skill at design, sorry me :(
i'm on level thirty something and i'm realizing that the #'s left over after the computer attacks a node are complete bullshit. he'll attack with a force of like 30 guys. hit my node that has around 30. and the attack ends, he owns the node, and it has like 50 of his guys in it.
learn to arithmetic. your game is bugged and broken.
