i wish there were persistent upgrades of some kind.

the way you slide is unbearably annoying.
very nice. though it would have benefited from some light ambient noise/music, the whole "this whole life ends in an instant" vibe was well served by the realism of the noiselessness.
uhm.. i dropped the box on the switch, the poorly drawn sprite walked through the exit door.. and nothing..
so i wen tot main menu to see if i could at least go to level 2 manually. nope?
so fix your buggy piece of shit
The box needs to go in the exit second. Did you do that?
the end-of-level fanfare and option popups (next level/etc.) are immersion breaking. it should just flow into the next level seamlessly.
didn't like having secrets in levels that you can't really find without pressing against random walls.
this game would have mega-benefited from some light story throughout the levels or every few levels.
there is trash then there are games like this that have enough to keep you interested but are lacking some key pieces (or possessing some key annoyances) that keep it from being great. this one is right there, imo.
oh, and finally it has some bug where your movement keys will get unresponsive. i died in the middle of a level because the down key stopped working. (obviously i hadn't lost focus in the flash window because the left and right keys still worked)
could have been fun if it wasn't so buggy. god the bugs were infuriating.
not to mention picking up orbs was very unpleasant. half the time u walk over them and they don't pick up. sometimes they fall right on you but u still have to move to pick them up
learn something about game design. until then, you will produce stuff like this
i know what u mean ><
i full screened, then hit escape later on to un-fullscreen it and the game screen was then just black. no way to see or do anything
amazing game though.
Yeah sorry about that, I've updated the description to warn people about that.
original idea. gets 3 stars.
rehash of old idea gets 4 stars.
NG in a nutshell.
WASD should work. that way your hands can be comfortable. as it is you either have to move your left hand over to arrow keys (uhm.. retard have you ever seen a keyboard?) or move your right hand back and forth between mouse and arrow keys like an idiot.
that really killed any chance of me giving this a serious try.
FAIL.
