glad this popped up again. my first experience wasn't very positive but i liked it a lot more this time through.

Because you have to defend your house/base while your search party searches the nearby locations for supplies, weapons and survivors :)

the fact that... when you swap two blocks.. it doesn't show that they're swapped...

just makes this the dumbest thing nitrome has ever produced. i generally love all things nitrome..

but this is just pure crap.

level 1.. i swapped spikes with a regular block.. but the spikes just sit there looking like spikes.. it's just now i can magically run on spikes.

i feel like this wasn't even playtested once by the creators.

how a game gets pushed out the door without them testing it even ONE time to see that swapping is bugged and doesn't visually swap the tiles.. i don't know. but apparently it happened.

as others have stated, the ending screen looks stupid. it breaks you out of the nice serene feel that the game imparted and suddenly makes you feel like the author had no skill and that all the quality came from the original photographers.

as you right said - i have no skill at design, sorry me :(

i'm on level thirty something and i'm realizing that the #'s left over after the computer attacks a node are complete bullshit. he'll attack with a force of like 30 guys. hit my node that has around 30. and the attack ends, he owns the node, and it has like 50 of his guys in it.

learn to arithmetic. your game is bugged and broken.

so i beat a few levels. paused to try to find out how many more there were. went to menu.. saw nothing for a level select or anything. so i went back to continue and it started me at level 1. some searching around and i found no way to continue my game.

it was at this point i realized that you had overlooked a pretty crucial feature in games like these.

overall it was a fun experience with a nice track and good visuals. i'm a chess grandmaster so it was a bit trivial for me to beat the levels i did play without needing to peek again, but still fun and i can see how this could be useful for players looking to improve their visualization skills.

Thanks for your feedback. My intention with this game was that the player would play it straight through if they wanted to finish/submit a score. It is by design that the game starts over if you quit to the main menu. I understand the confusion though and your want for a level select.

absolutely wretched wretched sound design. the sounds are jarring and contrast too sharply with each other. you start a level and it feels like your speakers are screaming a high pitched whine.

overall the game... was nothing special.

the sound design made it outright bad.

6:01 first try. only hiccup for me was knowing the format to enter dates in. i never like free form date entry in puzzles. too many formats.

you didn't mention to hit F to fight. shouldn't have to read your newgrounds comments below the flash to learn how to play the game.

for this and other things you fail.

kokos0102 responds:

I also mentioned it in the loading screen... I thought it should be enough...
FOR ALL WHO READ THIS PRESS "F" TO FIGHT OR SHOOT!!!

i looked up the definition of gauche

The end..?

I sincerely hope not.
