perma-death: stupid

animation of character: nonexistent and therefore horrible

any visual effect to indicate that monsters actuall damage you: not present

background and foreground being graphically distinct allowing for smooth play and platforming: nope

platforming being smooth and tight so you don't just kind of move through corners and fall: absolutely not. nope.

allowing for moving through doorways while still moving: nope. incredibly annoying

not forcing you to take damage to get across a gap: nope. it does force you to do that

distinct edges of rooms so you can tell if edge is a wall or just a continuation to next screen: nope. lacking that

text not flashing too briefly to read when walking by stroller: chec- nope. not check. it does. wow.

idiot ending: check.

well you got some. you missed some. unfortunately all the ones you got were flaws.. and all the ones you missed weren't.

have a nice day.. oh and p.s. never make a game again.

Some huge completely unnecessary annoyances.

It should save after each wave. Plain and simple. The fact that it doesn't and that death can sometimes result in being sent back 2 or 3 waves was asinine and infuriating.

It's completely illogical that I can start reloading and then initiate repairs and have them both go at the same time, yet if I'm repairing and initiate a reload, it pauses the repair. This was obviously an oversight on your part. Either we were meant to be able to do both at the same time, or we weren't and you overlooked the reload-then-repair case.

The upgrades were unsatisfying. They increased your abilities by too small of an amount. Especially first tier. Why even have a first tier if it's so pointless? Why not just have first tier be second tier and have it cost two points? Blizzard learned late in their design cycle that filler talents were bad design. Are you an immature enough game designer to not learn from industry lessons?

My biggest complaint is that you are a studio. A for-profit studio. I HATE when for-profit studios post on NG. You guys are greedy, corrupt, and dedicated to a freemium model that DISGUSTS me.

You won't even read this review because you could not care less what we have to say.

valiant effort at a missile command derivative. not my cup of tea though.

clever and fun.

eliminate ur essence idiot.

really nice.. if it wasn't so tiny.

i tried zooming in on my browser but you enabled that really annoying some flash developers do for some unknowable reason that makes it so when you zoom in with your browser, the game just shrinks relative to the browser to stay the same size.

plenty of games let you zoom that way and some just want to battle with the user for some reason.

the game seems like it might be a 5. but your attitude towards users is a 0

do you know how to average two numbers? i do.

check it out:

damn good.

really good. made me remember window's sickass pinball game

pretty fun

this is an interesting take on this game type. i'm referring to the physics component.

i'm curious though. are you actually computing moment of inertia or is it just a "distance from center" ~ "imparted angular momentum" kind of deal?

either way.. add some subtle particle effects to highlight collision and get some sound and music. extra points if the music is actually just ambient synth or something instead of some jarring crap
