Why isn't the 'r' key bound to restarting the level?
Also, where is the undo button or what key is it?
The slow movement of the character is a but cumbersome.

There's really no skill involved. You just hold down space bar a few times until all the stars are collected.
Graphically it was nice. The music was way too heavy and the loop was way too short.
It looks, sounds, and feels great.
It's too hard though. I like hard games. But not when they're hard due to bad design choices. Not allowing the chain to do anything, only the point at the end of it makes this way too hard. Sorry.
You should factor in author incremental skill when balancing difficultly. I've made games that people found impossible that I thought were easy because I was there playing the shit out of it every step of the way.
When I took a step back and watched people play it I realized... oh this is actually badly tuned. Over tuned basically.
Game should be much higher than two stars but it's not really playable.
I didn't realize Chompy was a Lemmings fan. I would have viewed him differently if I knew.
Btw, I think your level 1 shouldn't be considered a level. It was really confusing for me. I kept playing it over and hitting different keys and clicking because I didn't understand that level 1 is literally.. nothing but a non-interactive tutorials.
Still needs some polish and some of the animations need more frames but the art is still nice.
Btw, while writing this review, I don't know what happened. Maybe my guy fell through the world or something because it's a black screen now with just the lemmings option buttons visible at the bottom. Moving mouse over the lower right to those buttons also changes the cursor but I can't can't see them and they don't do anything.
*dives out window, looking so awesome. you look pretty surprised and pissed but impressed*
The controls are really bad.
WASD to move is ok... not great for this but ok.
But double tapping cardinal directions for dashing... wuh??
Better control scheme:
WASD to move, space to dash, click to swing.
Thanks. Had a lot of feedback on the controls so I can tell they need a lot of work!
Very nice. I don't understand why it isn't rated higher.
I'm a much better judge of game quality than 99% of NG. (you can take that to the bank) And I say this is 3.5 to 4 stars.

"This just in from r/iamverysmart."
How did you get that from what he said? He's right. It's a game where you move around in four directions and have to fight really bad controls.
Do you admit to this being heavily inspired by the time travel level in The Cave?
no no
The timing for when you need to hit the key relative to where the enemy is is unintuitive.
I destroy at rhythm games but this one just felt off so I didn't enjoy it.
We fix this sync issue in Version 2.0. Please stay tuned, we will update it soon.
I'm not sure I understand the reasoning behind your conscious design decision to have the player move their hand back and forth between the mouse ad keyboard.
I'm sure you considered WASD + mouse instead but felt that the back and forth thing was better. I'm just curious why.
Mainly because mouse shouldn't be used. The keys are:
* Arrows: movement
* X: Talk/dialogues
* Z: Pick items
Mouse is an optional alternative of X button... probably I'll disable this in future releases, since it makes a lot of confusion >.<
Thank you for playing!
