you tried too hard to be weird.
you tried too hard to seem deep. going as far as to omit enough detail that it would be impossible to really tell what was going on and what everything meant.
depth is not achieved through omission. it's inherent.
there was no depth here.
the animation was terrible
the art was terrible
the ambient audio was good
the sound effects were good
this could have been done with no voice over. the voice actors were.. ok i guess. but not good enough to avoid detracting from the overall feel. it really hurt the presentation for me.
should have had him wake up at end and get himself up to go to fridge.
also describing your own animation as clever is tacky.

lol. i get that having a sad/bitter ending is supposed to be artsy. but it's really obvious you only did it for the same of trying to be artsy. it accomplished nothing. there was literally no meaning here. i had all kinds of ideas for interesting twists and turns and subtle meanings throughout the whole thing and yet kept waiting to be surprised.
the end was pointless.
the art was ok. music was ok.
and if i know NG, this is going to get overrated.

it just blows my mind that ppl put so much effort into stuff that just isn't funny or clever or entertaining at all.
it just goes to show that the bright people with original and clever ideas.. rarely overlap with the people with artistic talent.
