wow

in all seriousness, some games are an absolute pleasure to vote 0 on.

i'd like to point out to everyone here that this is an example of a submission that pays to make the front page (or trades traffic in some way.)

there is absolutely no way this game could even earn a 3/5.. and guess what? 3/5 isn't nearly high enough to legitimately make the front page.

what an absolute horrid piece of trash.

you jump too high.. you move too slowly. you whole mechanics are clumsy and awkward. it just annoys you to play it.. and overall it is a rotten pile of dog crap.

there's nothing good to say about this game other than that the graphics were decent.

i'm sorry i've given 10's to tons of low-graphic well-designed games. i have NEVER given stars for a horrible game with respectable graphics.

if this was made by a quadruple amputee, a 3 year old, anyone with an iq less than 70, or someone who was forced to create the whole game from scratch with a blindfold on, then i take back the harshness of what i've said.

in any other case, the author deserves absolute ridicule and scorn for this horrible piece of SHIT

really fun but a few problems/suggestions

as you upgraded the graphics, the game gets easier (as a previous poster said)

either you did this intentionally (i don't think it should be this way)

or it has something to do with framerates as graphics improve causing (for some reason) you to launch more projectiles / game-time or have your projectiles move at a greater game-distance/game-time rate.

suggestion: would be really fun if you allowed us to upgrade the amount of components we can add to our ship.

also, it was unclear how the magnets worked.

intuitively one would think that the magnets attract the coins but in reality the magnets (regardless of where they are positioned) cause ur coin collector to attract the coins better. you should have made it so the magnets pull the coins directly, hence forcing you to place your magnets right on top of your coin collector to maximize their usefulness

green areas

you forgot to write the code for the green areas. they don't do anything.

lag and twitchiness

controls were too responsive. i can't stand tapping right to have my guy fly to the right. makes jumping on bullets impossible.

also, time control is a fun game concept. jumping on bullets doesn't fit in at all. changing the direction of bullets is iffy at best. it makes no sense logically of course.

you'll probably respond saying time control doesn't make sense logically either. my response to that is "time control is the premise of your game. it makes no sense to attack that. only inconsistencies with the premise. i'll accept slowing down time, i don't accept you could change the direction bullets were going"

nuff said.

lots of problems

1. shouldn't have a huge area to defend. if you must, then at least have a minimap so we can see areas off the screen and whether they've being attacked
2. your car has an annoying slowdown when u move to the edge of the screen and try to move in the opposite direction. obviously a coding bug
3. i accidentally clicked main menu after a level completed. of course i could start at the day i left off, but i lost my 10 hours for upgrades
4. the friction mechanic (your car slides more after you let go of movement key) is incredibly annoying.

overall the game is barely playable.

if you fixed these issues, it'd be fun.

nice rpg for a flash game

i'd only complain about two things

1. having to use mouse for combat. since combat is simple menu-driven why can't we just continue using the keyboard instead of having to move our hands around? annoying

2. when you go in and out of that first portal u start the game in, you keep ending up in different places.. makes it confusing.

can't build tank

the author of this flash forgot to put a button for making the tank. lol.

also he describes it like you transform between the tank and a tower. well i also tried clicking my own towers and nothing turned into a tank. so ya.. lol. no tank.

sound bug

the chicken sound from the first game kept playing even though i went to other games.

this game would be 50x better if

this game would be 50x better if you could put your bunkers on autopilot. even if their accuracy wasn't that great (you could have upgrades for that) it would be better than having to manually switch.
