fun demonstration of a famous math theorem

some of the comments complained about the difficulty.

don't think the idiots realized that it's impossible to make this game more difficult with four colors. it's a famous math theorem proven by hardy.

you could limit it to 3 colors and come up with some clever scheme, but as we all know, any map can be colored with four colors.

10/10 for demonstration of a famous theorem with a soothing game. the fact that it's mind numbingly easy isn't the point.

A large majority of the levels can be solved using only 3 colours. You are awarded a gold star in the level select menu for doing so. I think it becomes a little more challenging if you aim for that.
Good to see some of the geeks picking up on the concept behind it :)

potential but fails

the graphics and stuff are smooth. this game has a lot of potential

problem is the controls. and i think one simple fix would fix it all

W should be jump (in addition to up for climbing ladders)

having to use WASD, space, and mouse all at once is annoying and i frequently hit W instead of space and fall.

i'm sorry to say it's a gamebreaking feature.

poor synthesis of action/puzzle

this game is a puzzle thriller.. but it throws in this arbitrary action encounters that are rather annoying and death not only sets you back in terms of combat.. but in terms of all the thinking and logic and puzzles you've done?

i'm sorry. make it so the monsters don't actually do damage to you or something. use them as an ambience/scare mechanism sure. but don't have them kill you. i got inside flat 2. used the change on the vending machine etc. i'm guessing i was pretty near the end, then i died from some monsters. rather annoying. didn't attempt again.

fun but annoying

fun (i got 35th of all time with 6516 score)

but annoying.

i hate the way you have deliberately misspelled words in there to throw you off.

boring and featureless

i found the game to be boring.

no sound effects. no real graphics. (death animations etc.)

frequently, the roll/climb thing didn't work

just wasn't that fun overall.

great sound vector graphics st yle

sound and weapon effects were top notch
everyone likes vector graphics

wish there were more upgrades though..

some ideas:
upgrade the rate that your turret rotates
upgrade the radar (with a really expensive upgrade) that lets you detect those undetectable guys
purchaseble drones that go out and help you

dual guns would be cool too.

good not great

would have been a lot better if there were powerups and weapons.

also being able to upgrade your weapons to shoot multiple cruise missiles and heavy armor and night vision upgrades. in addition there should have been monsters to slay on the way and vehicles (tanks aircraft etc.)

passable with some problems

i'd have given this an 8 or 9 out of 10 if a couple gameplay issues had been done correctly

the timer was a pointless nuisance.

since you have infinite lives.. the timer simply means that sometimes when you have 30 or so seconds left right at a death, you need to sit there and just wait for the clock to run down since attempting the level is pointless.

timer should just be removed or it should count in the opposite direction and be used for score purposes.

need health. running through a level just to die instantly because you were a couple pixels to the left and bumped into a spike accidentally is pretty frustrating. it doesn't fall into the category of what i consider "fun difficulty" but rather falls into what i call "tedious difficulty"

sound effects and graphics were pretty good, though the music becomes unbearable after a few minutes.

SO SO

not that great. i guess i'll take the time to tell you why

-controls: space to fire is not fun. would be a lot better if you moved with WASD and aimed and fired with the mouse

-shop/menu system was unclear. took me a second to figure out that i was just upgrading the weapons and not buying them.

-unclear font on numbers

-using your health to buy stuff wasn't a very good idea.. it gives you no incentive to kill.

-very boring and repetitive. especially at level 16. progressing to 17 would require you to run around and shoot stuff for 15 minutes which was boring.

-not many weapon types and the upgrade system was too simplistic

graphics and sound were fine though.

weapon graphics and animation weren't very creative though.
