perfect with upgrades

would be a perfect game if you could upgrade things

unplayable

no way to dodge, block, parry enemy attacks.. and hitting them has no effect on them swinging on u..

so there really is no way to avoid taking damage..

i'm sure if i played several times till i got "lucky" then i could get up to better weapons.

w/e might want to add a block feature.

also.. enemies hit you and it turns you around so you're facing away from them but you don't do the same to them.. i have to say this is a thoroughly unenjoyable game.

fun

fun.

i'm curious how you coded the clone behavior.

is each clone represented as a simple timeline of keypresses?

nice actionscripting and fun.

good art, sound, music, gameplay, story, overall style.

hope to see more from you with this level of quality.

That is all.

decent graphics and sound

this game has nice graphics and sound but too many problems to ignore.

1. no leveling up. you might lvl once if you're lucky

2. no item upgrades

3. avoiding fights.. this is just dumb. sorry. ruins the game imo

these are critical elements to rpg progression that make the genre work..

you can't even really call this an rpg.. it's some other twisted perversion of the genre that is not fun.

uhm.. ok?

the plural of dwarf is dwarves..

too hard to click

too difficult to click and it punishes you too much for missing. clicking the people just coming in the front door while they are walking to the couch is so hard.

that needs to be reworked. suggestion, remove the clickability of the front door.

it's clickable and hogs ur clicks that were aimed at the people.. yet it serves no purpose. why is it highlightable?

also.. the problem with families is that the gap in between mom and dad is unclickable.. so u have to click very precisely. so darn annoying. just make it one big hit box with no concavities.

also you should be able to hire assistants that do some of your tasks for you and make your job easier.

addicting and fun with some minor problems

the game was fun and kept me entertained from start to finish but there were a few minor errors that if fixed, would make this game perfect:

1. annoying controls. don't like zipping around with the mouse.. it makes it so i move my mouse to my destination, get there, and keep moving. would probably prefer it if your cursor WAS the ship. that'd make things perfect.

2. need hotkeys for the weapons/heal instead of having to hit space and move ur mouse over it. (annoying)

3. the first charge weapon gives no text notification when it comes online.

4. (this wasn't a problem) but i'd like some more upgrades.. and possibly some permanent upgrades. things like shields, better mobility, teleporting short distances, etc.

somewhat polished and good

problem is. everything in the background and foreground and everything that is relevant or irrelevant has the same sharp contrast.

it makes the screen appear cluttered and confusing.

games like world of warcraft tend to try to recede irrelevant and background terrain/objects/etc. with fading and color filters so they don't stick out as much.

this game sorely needs that then it would be a really enjoyable experience.

just not fun

I'm sorry. This type of game just isn't remotely fun. Just running around getting knocked down and waiting to get back up and hoping to get your hits in.
