Liked it overall. Just going to list my complaints/suggestions:

Needs some quality of life improvements like mass potion purchasing.

Screen spazzes out too much when you have a bunch of heroes doing stuff. Too much shaking, flashing, and noise.

It's weird how if you're at the contract page, you click a button called "contract" to go to training. Why have the button to jump over also serve as the title for the current page? Very unintuitive.

Too short. Throw in a prestige system and a little more content. I liked it a lot and it was over too quickly.

I don't see what the difference in classes is.

It's weird that new applicants default to the training page when you select them. And then you have to jump over to the contract page to review and accept.

Btw, the high score system is a bit weird. I got all-time first by playing it *that* way, but it was odd.

The platforming and combat and stuff was awesome.

That stupid ragnarok online'ish interface? Ugly, cumbersome, and extremely offputting.

why wouldn't you support dualshock controllers? playstation is a more rational console to own than xbox if you consider the lineup.

Gerkinman responds:

They should work of you use a 360 controller wrapper. The controller support is built into the engine and not something I can personally modify.

The art and audio are great.

The handling is really bad. The slippery slidy stuff makes it very unenjoyable to move around.

I didn't mind Dark Soul's difficulty. What I didn't like was how it got harder every time you died. That was a terrible mechanic and people only forgave it because it would make them seem less "hardcore" and "skilled" to whine about something difficulty-related. It was an emporer's new clothes situation.

This game has that same mechanic which in my opinion is a big mistake.

The first level after getting the shotgun is too hard.

Overall the game is great though.

jsleon519 messaged me privately and told me he was lying about guessing the handshake. Weird thing to lie about.

Anyway, weird but interesting game. I'll keep an eye on the KS.

The audio is so terribly abrasive. The mechanics feel sluggish and horrible. You barely move up the wall. It just feels bad. There's no player empowerment to make it fun.

The graphics are horrible. I'm a huge fan of pixel and voxel art styled games. But this was just ugly.

Also it's buggy. You use space to hold on or whatever but also space to restart when you die. So a few quick deaths and it bugs out. It played with the restart menu still up. Then just froze.

Also it was one of those games where the NG page stays completely blank while it's loading and then right as I click refresh it suddenly appears. I doubt that's your fault. But it was your choice to use Unity and there are different ways to compile projects and have the data stream and you chose one where it has to cache the entire file before the applet will even appear.

I didn't like your game, the first Abyss, that much but it was the exact same game here except far better in every way. At least, for sure, the handling was way better and the character was smaller relative to the field. Two factors that really hurt Abyss 2.5.

I liked Flip World more than either of these, though it wasn't without its slew of issues that should have been obvious to the programmer.

Mantis1 responds:

Yes, Flip World is better. I'm glad we can agree on that at least.

Sorry, but it's hard to take you seriously when all you do is attempt to aggravate people on the bbs. And if you were such a Unity expert you'd know that all Unity WebGL games suffer from that loading issue currently.

No idea what big bullet guns do. I don't see any big bullets flying out of my guys.

I don't like having to watch an ad to respawn my guys. Put a banner ad. Don't turn it into the crap that we have to deal with on mobile. NG is supposed to be a haven from garbage like that.

Also I would like my guys to be able to pay to upgrade another slot. Two is very limiting

grmaster responds:

We don't planned button "respawn" and any ads, but... I doubt that you click the "donate" button, if we add it. Unfortunately, game sponsors are not interested in buying these types of games.

You can pass all game without respawn.

Thanks for idea about new slots. We welcome your suggestions and ideas.

Wow that is intense for a flash game. Nice.
