is it because I'm using chrome? it can't be my PC since my PC dominates yours and anyone else's.

My computer was bought from a mexican street vendor in an alley behind 7-11 and it runs the game just fine. I bet it's a flash player version issue. Right click and make sure you're using flash player 11.8.

I'm also using chrome, so that's probably not it either.

I just love how most people judge this as if this game was made by professional video-game designers.. But it's not...

for what was essentially a proof of concept this was very solid. i'm not sure if i should rate this based on the standard of a complete game or a single level of an incomplete game. i've never been sure what the right way to rate these things was.

i'm going with the former. if the latter, i'm sure it would have been a 5.

i really don't like the controls. i'd much prefer to have the option to play, with one player, using the arrow keys for movement and a key with my left hand for shooting.

You can change the keys to whatever you want! Just click the key on the character select screen and change it!

this isn't 1-bit. it's a greyscale. it doesn't matter if it's monochrome under the hood. it's still log_2(shades)-bit

I know what 1-Bit means, everything is 1-bit with filter over-top of everything to make it look better. I know that means that it's technically not 1-bit, but it looks way better with the filter.

it had to be downrated exclusively by people who don't care about programming/development/tutorials.

this was lovingly crafted and has perfect polish. it's an obvious 5/5 submission.

not being able to see around the level and know if you're lined up with spikes is an unnecessary nuisance

extremely addicting game, but i didn't feel like replaying the last level until i'd memorized where all the out-of-range-of-sight spikes were.
