Took me back to the menu upon completion of two of the levels.

awesome incremental. sea of bad ones lately. but still a good influx of goods and greats.

working on one myself. definitely won't look or sound this good

i just cannot believe how poorly designed this is.

i got to the part where it said left click to make platforms so i clicked.. wasn't sure where to click. i clicked out in the air in between my platform and the next. i heard some sound. saw my guy do something.. no platform appeared.. and clicking after that did nothing.

then i opened the menu and hit exit so i could go to the menu and restart and it just froze.

this is just terrible.

you have no right to make games, just because you're an artist.

i see too many of these games with pretty art that are just designed and coded horribly.

get a programmer or just don't make games.

k this game suffers from frustration due to clicking outside the window more than any other game i've ever played

also on stage 7 i got stuck. chest up top. enemies all dead. couldn't get up top.

i would rate this a lot higher despite the first gripe, but i cannot in good conscious give a sharpnova passing grade of 2.5 when a game has a bug that makes it unbeatable.

The handling.

Is terrible.

The handling is so so terrible.

It's just.. the worst handling ever. If it was tighter with less skidding this would be a lot better.

Also the way you skid at the start is not cool or fun. It's incredibly ugly and annoying. It feels bad. You want to make game mechanics feel good.

eh you didn't just make it too hard. the whole game is too hard.

just bad overall difficulty design. please fix.

because the mechanics/sound/music/art/theme/basically everything but the difficulty = awesome.

It would have been funny if the premise was that the reason alien's anal probed us was so they could collect our poop to use as ammunition.

This is a fundamentally broken game.

It's impossible to really judge where you are spatially with respect to asteroids in the distance. There needs to be some kind of grid or forward shadow indicator.

Also, mouse is constantly moving out of the window and then doesn't interact with the ship anymore. That makes this virtually unplayable.

@claydog72 - I agree.

Also, this just isn't very fun. the resolution is way too small so I can barely see anything.

Mobility feels terrible. I move too slow and jump too floatily.

Flying ship was impossible to destroy despite it showing up on wave 2 or 3.

I never saw any of my guns/sentries that I bought.

Overall just felt very badly designed. And that isn't to say unpolished. It feels reasonably polished and I think that's a bad thing. I'd rather this be fun but unpolished. But it's not fun and seems close to a finished product which means it's never going to be fun unless you overhaul a lot about it, which I don't expect you. I wouldn't expect anyone to. That's not feasible in game development at this late a stage.

So I'm sorry, this is not that fun and I don't think it'll do that well on Steam.

Also to restate claydog72's point, this is not a test early-access type website and people here definitely do not appreciate this kind of stuff. NG is for the best in web gaming. It comes here to reach the height of its glory then fade into obscurity peacefully, always accessible in the future.
